Toddler killed in fairground fallA two-year-old boy has died after falling from a fairground ride.
The toddler died after the incident on the ride at Ducketts Common in Turnpike Lane, north London. The boy was with his mother and father at the time.
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "Police were called to reports of a child fallen from a fairground ride at Ducketts Common, Turnpike Lane, N8. Local officers and the ambulance services attended.
"A two-year-old boy was taken by ambulance to The Royal London Hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival."
The Health and Safety Executive is investigating and a post- mortem is due to take place.
Police said the fairground was closed after the incident.

What a terrible tradegy....
I hate fairground's because I don't think they're as safe as they should be.
I prefer Alton Towers etc because you know they have regular safety checks

I was wondering what Kind of ride a two year old could have been on that he could have fallen from but apparently he walked in front of a ride.
