Stephen Gately death 'not suspicious'Spanish police investigating the death of Boyzone singer Stephen Gately have said there are "no signs of suspicious circumstances."
The Irish popstar has died at the age of 33 while on holiday in Majorca with his husband, Andrew.
The rest of the group are said to be travelling to the country today. They, along with manager Louis Walsh are said to be devastated.
Stephen Gately was born in Dublin and had been involved in entertainment from a young age. He answered an advert looking for men to audition for Ireland's first boyband.
Along with Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Keith Duffy and Michael Graham they had phenomenal success with 17 top 5 singles and four number 1 albums.
When the band took a break Stephen released some solo material and then went on to play a number of musical theatre roles from Joseph to The Child Catcher with great reviews.
Boyzone were set to release a new album in 2010.

i couldnt believe it when i heard, obviously been a boyzone fan i was devastated to hear about his death  , having met him just last year too he was such a lovely guy
i cant believe theyre trying to say he choked on his own vomit after a drinking binge though  , he didnt even like alcohol!!
hopefully well find out soon enough what happened though

Well, however he died it is a shame that someone so young has passed away.
