Spandau Ballet on their returnSpandau Ballet talk to us about getting back ...
The five-piece, who launched a thousand tearful karaoke moments with their biggest hit True, are on the comeback trail after years of acrimony.
Speaking at the Cannes film festival, where they are finalising plans for a documentary on their chequered past, the group insisted the reunion was more about rekindling their friendship than making money.
Songwriter Gary Kemp, who became embroiled in a High Court battle with his bandmates over royalties before patching things up, said: "I'm here because this my second family."
He added: "I think Spandau have got an interesting story. We came out of such an amazing time - the whole New Romantic Soho thing - and changed the world, really.
"It was a great time to sell records. In the 80s, pop music was everything. We had a bit of a soap opera moment as well."
