Jade husband guilty of assaultJade Goody's husband Jack Tweed could be sent back to prison after being found guilty of attacking a taxi driver.
It is the second time in six months that the 21-year-old has been convicted of assault.
Tweed, 21, of Buckhurst Hill, Essex, was convicted of attacking Stephen Wilkins in Epping last May. He had denied the offence.
Tweed, who wept in the dock after magistrates delivered the guilty verdict, was released on unconditional bail pending sentencing which was adjourned until March 26.
Tania Panagiotopoulou, for Tweed, had asked magistrates to adjourn sentencing for six months owing to his wife's illness. She said his lifestyle has changed since Goody was diagnosed with cancer.
She said: "His partying lifestyle is well and truly over and has been for some months now. He tries within the confines of his tag to care for her. He is unable to work."
Magistrates were told that Tweed grabbed Mr Wilkins around the neck and threatened to stab him as the taxi drove at about 50mph. Goody's husband said he was "stupid drunk" and has no memory of the incident.
Last September Tweed was given an 18-month prison term after being found guilty of attacking a 16-year-old boy with a golf club in Ongar, Essex.
Tweed was released from prison on licence in January and was ordered to wear a monitoring tag and obey a curfew.

To be honest, if they do send him down I do hope they will hold off until after she's passed before they put him away. Not for his sake, but for Jade's.
