Hamilton takes victory at SpaMcLaren's Lewis Hamilton extended his lead at the top of the championship race with a dramatic late victory at the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa.
Felipe Massa, Hamilton's nearest title rival, crossed the line in second place after Kimi Raikkonen, who had led the race from the second lap, span out on the final lap after rain started falling towards the end of the race.
BMW's Nick Heidfeld secured third place ahead of Fernando Alonso in fourth after a incident-packed finale to the most entertaining Grand Prix seen for some time.
Hamilton had led from pole position after a good start off the grid, only to spin on the damp track at La Source at the end of the first lap and cede the lead to Raikkonen.
The Finn managed to hold on in front until the weather finally broke near the conclusion of the race, handing the advantage back to Hamilton.
And the Briton did not disappoint, but not before a crazy sequence of events on the final lap that saw both Hamilton and Raikkonen spin off before the Finn ultimately crashed out, ending his race and possibly his title aspirations.
Hamilton now leads the championship with 80 points, eight points ahead of Massa in second. Robert Kubica occupies third, with Raikkonen a point behind on 57. Five races remain this season.

On no he didn't....he did an illegil overtaking and had a 20 second time penalty, which mean he came 3rd.

I'm really really angry about this, I watched it and its an unfair decision in my opinion. Yes he did manage to over take but because he went of road he pulled back and gave back the lead because he knew it would have been wrong to carry on. He then overtook in a perfectly legal move shortly afterwards.
I also think its a disgrace that the stewards took so long to make the decision, they obviously have ferrari in their pockets. 
I hope they win their appeal.
