Awake.....it's got the guy from the new star wars movies.
THe premise is that he needs heart surgery but he is awake & can hear & feel everything..........I promise it's not gory....an excellent storyline brilliantly acted. I'll see if I can find a preview for you.

"Slumdog Millionaire"
"Keith"
COMEDY
"Bedtime Stories" (this is just a cute family film)
"Role Models" (Hilarious Movie, but the language could be offensive to some.)

Rachel, I haven't seen "Awake" as of yet. I have seen the advertisement box in our local stores, but I didn't have a clue what to expect. I am going to rent that one this week!!

Rachel,
I watched "Awake" tonight! WOW...it was absolutely amazing. I would have never chosen it if it weren't for your description.
Blondie--"Australia" is good. It is slow at parts and literally could have been three movies in one. However, if you hang on until the end, you will most likely enjoy it.
Hakkie-- Some older movies are: --"27 Dresses"--cute and Romantic. "Mrs. Pettigrew Lives for a Day"--very adorable, romantic.
I really loved this one movie--"Burn After Reading"; however, it is very different from most movies. It has Brad Pitt and George Clooney in it; yet, it is not a LOL comedy or even a "ha-ha" comedy. It is unique to say the least. I call it an intellectual comedy. When it is given a chance, it will make you laugh at the irony of the situation, but you won't really laugh about it for a day or two. It is one of those movies that you can't stop thinking about for days and when you least expect it (days later) you will laugh at different parts of the movie!
