Coming soon on Emmerdale . . .
Spoiler:
Emmerdale
As if Cain Dingle's sudden reappearance in Emmerdale wasn't a big enough surprise, this week he has another shock in store for unsuspecting daughter Debbie.
Events unfold after Cain is arrested when a robbery by Eli and Aaron goes wrong. Debbie is certain that it will mean his return to prison so she is shocked when he walks free just hours later.
When she questions him about it, he reveals that he is now working as a police informer and that is the reason that he wasn't punished for blackmailing the King family.
Debbie is horrified by his revelation - will she keep it from the rest of the Dingle clan?
Elsewhere, things are getting dirtier in the election fight between Pollard and his son David. First of all, Pollard's partner-in-crime Nathan tries - and fails - to convince David's main supporter Leyla to switch sides.
When that fails, Pollard reverts to Plan B and publicly humiliaties his son. An upset David decides to drown his sorrows in The Woolpack and is publicly humiliated again - this time without the aid of his father. Has David played into Pollard's hands?
Also this week, Rodney finds out about Nicola's baby and Paddy manages to impress Chas.

Emmerdale's Viv Hope won't take long to get back in the swing of village life after her release from prison, according to actress Deena Payne.
Viv might have spent the last year in jail, but Deena said: "It doesn't take long, let me tell you, once she's got her confidence.
"She goes down to see Donna and I think things are all talked out there, and she comes back with a vengeance."
Having confessed to a crime she didn't commit, postmistress Viv was sent to prison for three years, but comes home after winning an appeal for early release.
"She's back as the old Viv, which is fantastic," said Deena. "I think two years before I left, Viv and Bob had got terribly serious, they really weren't the Viv and Bob that we knew and loved from three or four years ago.
"But now she's back as the old Viv, so that's really good. A little bit more confidence, a little bit more up. She's having a go at everybody, which is great."
